• Accuracy of Data: You are solely responsible for ensuring that the data you encode into barcodes is accurate, complete, and compliant with the standards applicable to your industry (for example, GS1 standards for EAN-13 and UPC-A in retail environments).
• Legal Compliance: You agree not to use this tool to generate barcodes for any illegal, deceptive, or malicious purpose. This includes, without limitation: creating fraudulent shipping labels, counterfeiting product identifiers, generating spoofed medical device codes, or facilitating any form of fraud.
• GS1 Numbers: EAN-13 and UPC-A barcode numbers are governed by the GS1 organization. You should only encode GS1 company prefix numbers that your organization has legally licensed. Using unauthorized GS1 numbers on commercial products may constitute trademark infringement or fraud under applicable law.
• No Automated Abuse: You agree not to use automated scripts, bots, or other means to access or scrape this application in a manner that places an unreasonable load on the service infrastructure.

3. Intellectual Property

The OB Barcode Generator application, its user interface design, branding elements, and original content are the intellectual property of Molave Labs and are protected by applicable copyright and trademark law. The barcode images you generate using this tool are yours. You retain all rights to the output files (SVG and PNG exports) that you produce. Molave Labs claims no ownership over the barcodes you create.

OB Barcode Generator uses the following open-source libraries, each governed by their respective licenses:

• JsBarcode — MIT License. Used for generating Code 128, Code 39, EAN-13, and UPC-A barcodes.
• qrcode-generator — MIT License. Used for generating QR Code matrix barcodes.
• JSZip — MIT License. Used for compressing batch barcode downloads into ZIP archives.

4. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Molave Labs and its contributors shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the service. This includes, but is not limited to:

• Inventory losses, shipping delays, or product recalls caused by incorrectly generated or encoded barcodes.
• Scanning failures due to print quality, substrate choice, or environmental factors outside our control.
• Data loss resulting from browser crashes, cache clearing, or local storage limitations.
• Service downtime, ad delivery failures, or disruptions caused by third-party CDN or API providers.

The service is provided "as is" and "as available," without any warranty of fitness for a particular purpose or merchantability. It is your responsibility to test all generated barcodes before deploying them in a production environment.

5. Third-Party Services and Advertising

OB Barcode Generator displays advertisements served by Google AdSense. We have no control over the content of individual ads displayed, and we are not responsible for the goods, services, or representations made by third-party advertisers.
